Create a metadata-reduced photo copy

Honest privacy limitThis removes common EXIF and GPS data by rebuilding the visible pixels, but it is not a forensic guarantee. For highly sensitive sharing, follow your organisation’s approved process.
01

How to use it

  1. Choose a photo and select the output format.
  2. Create a new copy from the visible pixels.
  3. Download it and use the new file when sharing.
02

What it accepts

JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 20 MB. Very large sources are reduced to a 16-megapixel working copy.

Important limits

  • This is metadata reduction, not a forensic guarantee that every hidden property is gone.
  • Animated images and HEIC files are not supported.
  • JPG export can slightly alter image quality; a screenshot is another simple option for high-risk sharing.
