Plain-English summary: the free tools process chosen files and typed tool entries in your current browser tab. The mini-games also run in the browser and do not create accounts, chat rooms or public leaderboards. Their contents are not uploaded to or stored by London Community IT. Ordinary website requests still reach the hosting service.
Who is responsible
London Community IT will be the controller for personal information it collects for enquiries, bookings, service delivery and its own marketing. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@londoncommunityit.co.uk.
Free browser tools
When a tool page says “processed on this device”, a selected file or typed entry is read and changed locally by code running in the browser. This includes entries in the asset-register, email-signature and password tools. London Community IT does not receive those contents, filenames or completed outputs. Closing or refreshing the tab clears the working data held by that page, although anything you copy or download remains on your device.
Tool pages may load the code needed to perform a conversion. The website host still receives ordinary technical request information such as the requested page, time, IP address and browser details. Device memory limits the size of work that can be completed, and users should check every output before relying on it. Browser autofill, clipboard history, extensions and cloud-synchronised download folders are controlled by the user’s device and browser, not by the tool page.
Free mini-games
The mini-games are simple same-device browser games. Scores, turns and puzzle positions are held only in the current page state and reset when the page is refreshed. They do not provide online matchmaking, chat, user accounts or public rankings.
Halal Household Meal Planner
The Halal Household Meal Planner stores household display names, ages, height, weight, activity, planning goal, calculated BMI and nutrition estimates, attendance choices, meal selections, sides, pantry entries, leftovers and shopping-list ticks in local browser storage on the visitor's device. London Community IT does not receive those entries, and the browser edition does not create an account or synchronise them between devices. Its recipe catalogue is a static snapshot sourced from TheMealDB's official API. Automated screening excludes recipes naming pork, lard, gelatine or alcoholic ingredients, but cannot certify meat, stock, sauces or packaged products as halal. Visitors must verify exact ingredients, allergen labels and safety requirements before cooking.
Qibla Finder location and compass
The Qibla Finder requests browser location access automatically when its page opens so it can calculate the local direction. On supported phones it also starts compass guidance automatically; browsers that require an explicit motion-permission gesture use the Apps-page launch tap or the visitor's next ordinary tap on the Qibla page. Coordinates and device-orientation readings stay in the current browser tab: they are not added to the web address, sent to London Community IT, saved in an account or written to website storage. They disappear when the page is refreshed or closed. The browser and device control whether permission is granted, and visitors can use the manual coordinate option instead.
Muslim Day Planner
The Muslim Day Planner sends the entered place or postcode—or coordinates when the visitor chooses current location—together with the selected dates, times and planning preferences to the website's day-planning endpoint. Journey mode also sends the entered destination and optional named stop and can cover an overnight or multi-date window of up to seven days, except a journey that crosses a UK clock-change date, which is rejected rather than guessing through a missing or repeated hour. That endpoint uses Postcodes.io or OpenStreetMap Nominatim to resolve places, OpenStreetMap data to find nearby venues and AlAdhan to calculate prayer times. For every date needed by a journey, prayer windows are sampled at the origin, a calculated midpoint and the destination; these are planning estimates, not an exact mosque timetable. Optional journey stops are restricted automatically using straight-line route and detour estimates. The response is marked private and is not intentionally stored by London Community IT, but those external providers and the website host receive the technical request information needed to answer it. The planner does not require an account and does not save itineraries. Visitors should avoid entering a private home address when a nearby postcode or public place is sufficient.
Information we may use
We may use names, organisational roles, business contact details, enquiry messages, appointment information, equipment records, invoices, support notes and correspondence. Customers should not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
Why we use it
Information is used to answer enquiries, agree and deliver work, keep financial and service records, protect systems and rights, and—where lawful—contact relevant organisations about services that may be useful to them.
Marketing approach
Outreach is individually researched and directed to relevant organisations. Identity and an easy opt-out are included. Numbers must be screened against TPS and CTPS before marketing calls, and objections or opt-outs are recorded immediately. We do not sell contact lists.
Sharing and security
Information may be shared only with necessary service providers, professional advisers or authorities where required. Access should be limited, accounts protected with multi-factor authentication and service notes kept separate from customer passwords.
Retention and rights
Records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose, legal obligations and legitimate record keeping. People may ask about their information or request correction, restriction, objection or deletion where the law applies. They may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Nikah Conversation app
The Nikah Conversation app saves which cards have been marked as covered, plus update times, in browser storage on the device. Where account sync is available, that progress can also be saved against the signed-in account using the platform-provided user identifier. It does not collect answers through the app or use public leaderboards or chat rooms.
External apps and links
Links such as the Qasas app open a separate website with its own technical operation and privacy information. The page makes this clear before the visitor leaves London Community IT.
Cookies and website measurement
The website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or optional analytics at launch. If analytics, advertising, embedded media or other non-essential technologies are added later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated first.
